Stephanie's Story:
My journey began at the age of 16. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS). My periods were occurring twice per month. Lasting for more than a week, while I was doubled over in pain. My weight was unstable and kept fluctuating. My mood swings were also uncontrollable. I began to accept this as the norm and was left without any hope. After seeing several medical providers, I was told that my thyroid was perfectly fine and I did not need to take any medication.
When I finally reached my twenties, I sought help. Eastern Medicine became the solution that I looked for after years of struggling. My first consultation with Dr. Duro really opened my eyes to alternative medicine.
After several months of treatment and Chinese herbs, my cycle and symptoms improved remarkably.

Dr. Marilyn Aracena, OMD
Dr. Marilyn Aracena is a licensed doctor of oriental medicine with special expertise in the treatment of male and female health, pain management, facial rejuvenation and detoxification. She has worked with Dr. Celada Duro at Florida Complete Wellness for the past decade as both an intern and practitioner.
Dr. Aracena is passionate about helping her patients on their journey to maximize their goal of ultimate health. Her over ten years of clinical experience using multidisciplinary approaches makes her a diligent and very meticulous healer, who has successfully treated a wide range of conditions.
Her background includes a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, along with a Master's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Bachelor's degree in Health Science.She also holds a BS in Human Services and is a Master herbalist, NADA protocol certified, and is certified in Cold Laser therapy.
Dr. Farrar Duro, DOM
Dr. Farrar (Celada) Duro DOM, FABORM practices reproductive acupuncture and became a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine in 2008.
She has been specializing in the treatment of pregnancy-related disorders, infertility and female pelvic pain with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 15 years and has a passion for women's health and wellness. This path led her to pursue advanced pregnancy training in Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapy and publication of her first book,The Smart Couple's Guide to Getting Pregnant, An Integrated Approach in 2015.
A board-certified acupuncture physician, Dr. Duro graduated from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine and performed her post-graduate training at Shandong University of TCM in Shandong, China. She holds regular speaking engagements at local universities, hospitals and IVF centers to advocate for a better understanding of integrative women's health between patients, doctors and other complementary healthcare providers.
